KKCRA Choir member Irene Rwaboona officially sworn in as Woman Councillor for Nyarushanje Sub-county at Rukungiri District Council
Joy and celebration have filled the KKCRA Choir fraternity after fellow member Irene Rwaboona was today officially sworn in as the Woman Councillor representing the people of Nyarushanje Sub-county at the inaugural sitting of the new Rukungiri District Council.
The swearing-in ceremony is currently taking place at the District Council Hall in Rukungiri where newly elected leaders are assuming office to begin the 2026–2031 term.
Rwaboona now joins the district leadership team and is expected to be deployed to various district committees as council business commences.
Her achievement has been received with excitement among KKCRA Choir members, friends, and supporters, who describe her as a dedicated leader, committed servant, and hardworking community mobiliser.
Congratulations continue pouring in as many wish her wisdom and success in representing the people of Nyarushanje and serving Rukungiri District with integrity and commitment. �
