Dear Sr. Prossy Naturinda,
There are people who speak loudly and are heard for a moment… and there are those who live quietly, yet their lives echo for generations. You belong to the latter.
Today, as you mark 25 years of religious life, we at KKCRA do not just celebrate a milestone—we celebrate a life that has touched us, shaped us, and reminded us of what truly matters.
You chose a path many admire but few understand. A path where love is given freely, where sacrifice is daily, and where service is not an event, but a lifestyle. In a world chasing comfort and recognition, you chose simplicity. In a world that gathers for self, you chose to give for others.
And we have seen it.

That a nun is not someone who “left the world,”

That behind the simple dress is a life of discipline,

You and your fellow sisters have shown us something rare—
that fulfillment is not in having more, but in needing less…
that true wealth is not in what we keep, but in what we give away…
and that joy is not in being served, but in serving.
You have reminded us that:
Nuns give up personal ambition to build communities.
They surrender income so others can live.
They wake early, pray deeply, serve tirelessly, and love endlessly.
They go where they are sent, not where they prefer.
They own little, yet give so much.
And somehow… they are full of peace.
Sr. Prossy, your 25 years are not just counted in time,

A heavy cloud of grief has engulfed the catholic faithful and the wider Ugandan community following the shocking and untimely death of Rev. Fr. Dr. Sylvester Arinaitwe Rwomukubwe, a devoted priest of the Apostles of Jesus (AJ) and a respected National religious leader. The sad news, confirmed by WOMESAM, has left Christians across the country in deep mourning, as tributes begin to pour in for a man widely regarded as a humble servant, a unifier, and a fearless voice of moral conscience. KKCRA September Mass at Namugongo Animated by Rubanda Deanery NAMUGONGO, UGANDA — September 21, 2025 The Kigezi Kampala Catholic Residents Association (KKCRA) community today gathered for their monthly Holy Mass at the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine, Namugongo. The Mass was led by Fr. Tibemanya Ireneus, Dean of Rubanda Deanery, with co-celebrant priests, and animated by the faithful of Rubanda Deanery. In his homily, Fr. Tibemanya emphasized the need for prayer, justice, and faithfulness to God amidst the growing challenges in society.
